I have taken the vehicle to Ford and they say it's just the way the system is. That it tries to anticipate and remember your driving habits???? That the software just needs to be recoded.... Well, I had that done twice and it never solved the problem. I did have to have the seal on the fuel pump replaced since it was leaking and that seemed to help this problem, but only temporarily... because now it's back.
