There is a customer satisfaction program extended warranty on this. BUT they won't fix it because it hasn't completely broken on it. However, in the meantime, my car loses "power" and my gas pedal stops working and I'm just coasting, looking desperately for a place to pull over. I have to then shut the car off and turn it back on so I can continue driving until the next time it happens. It is getting more frequent and is now doing to daily. I've taken it to the Ford dealership twice and they continue to say it's not pulling for that code even though there legit is basically a recall for the exact thing that is happening to my car. But because it hasn't broken completely yet, they won't fix it. So I'm either out a vehicle or I have to keep driving it until I get in an accident because I turned in front of another vehicle when my car decided to just stop. I have called the Ford recall line, they called my local dealership, created a case number and escalated it to the service manager which did absolutely nothing. Because under law, as it wasn't actually recalled, they don't HAVE to fix it until it's completely broken. I'm not sure how this is even legal.............
