The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape. The contact stated that a seal blew in the front axle, causing transmission fluid to leak from the vehicle. The dealer did not make an attempt to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was aware of the failure however, did not offer any assistance. The current mileage was 25,000. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.....updated 12/03/12 the consumer two repairs were made in less than five months. The axle seal was leaking transmission fluid. Updated 01/12/12
