MULTIPLE TIMES I HAD TO TAKE MY 2009 ESCAPE INTO THE FORD DEALER BECAUSE THE BRAKES WERE "GRINDING". TURNED OUT THAT THE FRONT ROTORS WERE OUT OF ROUND AND HAD TO BE RESURFACED. THIS APPEARS TO BE A PROBLEM ON THIS VEHICLE AS MY DEALER HAS HAD TO RESURFACE THE FRONT ROTORS 5 TIMES IN LESS THAN 40,000 MILES. THE REAR DRUMS HAD TO BE REPLACED AT 25,000 MILES AFTER THE TECHNICIAN DID SOMETHING TO THEM THAT CAUSED THEM TO LOCK UP.
