Sudden loss of acceleration. Wouldn't go above 20 mph. Took it to the dealer and they suggested to do $1000 worth of work. The engine cover gasket leaked onto the plugs so they cleaned the plugs and cleaned the injectors. Okay. That's understandable. Then they performed a trans fluid change. So we figure they know what they are doing, right? Since it's a Ford dealership. Wrong!
The car is picked up. A block down the road. Boom! Same problem, dropped it right back. They kept the car for several days. Called numerous times to check on status of car. We need it for another day, then another. Finally, they say. It's the trans! Code P0732. So we paid $1000 for a car that doesn't work. So they say it's going to cost $2300 for a new trans and $1700 for labor! WTF! Couldn't they have told us from the beginning that was the problem? Towed the car out of there!
