Bought this vehicle from a reputable dealer and after putting only a couple hundred miles on it the tie rods broke. Luckily, there was no crash due to the fact it was found during a yearly, routine, inspection. This was the second costly repair I have had within one year of purchasing this "lemon". Definitely, stay away from the 2008 Ford Escapes!
