CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007 Ford Escape looks pretty good compared to other Ford Escape model years, but still has a trend of transmission problems, so it's not a model year we can recommend.
The brakes started to make some noise in the back. After an inspection, I noticed that a brake pad was completely broken, I mean a piece of the pad brake was gone. I went to the dealer and they told me that my SUV wasn't cover anymore for brakes problem. So, even if your brake pads brakes in haft, they will not fix it if you have more then 20 khm on it or 13 Miles.
My 2008 Ford Escape has had brake problems from the beginning; I've only had the car for a couple of months, and it has been in the shop (dealers) 3 times now, once for 3 days, and still has the same problem. I've been in a rental car for more days than I actually got to drive my new car. I am frustrated and would like to know how many times I have to allow them to attempt repairing it before I can take further action
