I have followed the ford's idea after I called the corporate office to see if any recall. they say just clean the butterfly and it should be ok I did so with the appropriate material and tools yet I end up with a engine light on
stating code P0171 lean condition. knowing that the throttle body made of plastic material after having the throttle body looked at we noticed around the throttle body butterfly cylinder uneven and warped walls after being cleaned caused by heat and time. such expensive part should be taken under consideration before its birth not to leave a burden on consumer. I have seen cars with over 350000 miles on them still have the same throttle body on them and still working fine I see such part should be recalled and consumers should have the right to be accommodated by dependent and reliable part to be installed to rectify any deficiency in design ....
