I bought this vehicle from Granite Automotive in Rapid City SD. November 13th, 2015. I have literally only had it for a couple weeks. The check engine light has been on since the day after I bought it. The car was doing fine for about a week. Then, when you take it out and get going, you go about 40 mph and it start clugging around and doesnt want to give much power. Then, one day it got REALLY bad. The check engine light started flashing. I would lose power almost completely every time I would stop at a stop sign. It was bad. Then, today, it was driving decent. I went to get my daughter from school and I am headed up hill. The car literally did not want to go, it drove under 15 mph as far up that hill as I could make it go. A semi driving behind me almost rear ended us. I had to pull off on a side street for awhile while I called for help. Meanwhile, I'm late picking up my daughter from school. So, I had to pay a day care fee for the day. While we are sitting there with the car parked it is idling at 500 rpm. ( that is bad!) The car is a hazard, dangerous to drive. Its max speed is literally 20 mph and it will NOT make it up hills. I know it is going to completely brake down in a couple days. I called Granite Automotive while I was stuck on the side of the road, at first they did not answer. The second time I called a woman answered, she automatically transferred me to a "manager" . I got the voicemail. I STILL have not got a call back from them!!! I bought this car LITERALLY 24 DAYS AGO!!! THE FACT THAT I STILL OWE ALMOST $5,000 FOR A LEMON IS NOT OK. THE FACT THAT I'M STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHILE MY KID IS STUCK IN SCHOOL WAITING FOR ME IS NOT OK. THE FACT, I THOUGHT I BOUGHT A "GOOD" VEHICLE FOR WINTER TIME IS NOT OK. THE FACT THAT GRANITE DOES NOT HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO CALL ME BACK ABOUT THEIR SH*TTY VEHICLE IS NOT OK. BUT THEY COULD SURE MAKE IT A QUICK AND EASY PROCESS TO TAKE $5,000 FROM ME.
