Some 2020-2022 Edge ST and Nautilus vehicles equipped with an 8F57 transmission built on or before 18-Mar-2022 may exhibit a return to park when shifting to drive or reverse with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2707 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This vehicle may also have P0761 and/or P07E6 and/or P2705 in the PCM. This may be due to an F (2, 8) clutch piston. To correct this condition, inspect the F (2, 8) clutch piston for damage to the rubber sealing surface. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. For claiming, use causal part 7D402 and applicable labor operation in Section 07 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
