2020 Ford Edge
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
- Summary
- Some 2019-2023 Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine may exhibit a repeat block heater failure. This may be caused by air in the engine cooling system. The WSM replacement procedure has been updated to include the Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding procedure found in Section 303-03A Engine Cooling - 2.0L EcoBoost (184kW/250PS) MI4, General Procedures as the final step. The block heater should not be tested unless all the air has been removed from the engine cooling system following this procedure.
