I had my heated seats on for a trip to my mother's. we stopped every 2 to 3 hours for gas and breaks. 12 hours into the 14 hour trip I started feeling pain on the back of my legs. I checked on our next break and saw blisters forming on the backs of my legs. By the time I had arrived most of the blisters had popped. Car was in motion.
While on a 2 1/2 hr trip on the highway, the heater in the driver's seat got so hot I have second degree burns on my upper leg and buttock. So far, it has required to visits to my doctor for treatment. The manager at the dealer where I purchased the vehicle tells me he has never heard of a heater getting that hot, and does not believe that is how I was burned. They said they can't find anything wrong with it and they will not do anything to ensure it does not happen again.
