The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the passenger-??s side rear seat belt failed to retract. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the retractor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Approximately two weeks later, the driver's side rear seat belt retractor became inoperable but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred him to the NHTSA Hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
