CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar†warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

The drivers side air bag is for the most part always on. Maybe 1 out of 10 times I get in my car and start it, the light isn't on. I turned it into the dealership on 5/14/14, they were unable to duplicate concern. All they did was clear codes. Light only stayed off 1 day. When the car had to go in for service I turned in the air bag light again on 11/5/14. And once again, they were unable to duplicate concern. Cleared codes. I called the dealership first thing on 11/6/14. And was given the response "that soon huh". Was told they sent in a request for hot line response. And they will call me when they hear back from hotline.
