The contact-??s girlfriend owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while his girlfriend was refueling the vehicle, fuel started to leak from the fuel filler neck. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel line pulse damper metal housing was cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 134,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while refueling the vehicle, the fuel was coming back out from the fuel filler neck. The dealer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that the VIN was not included in any recalls. The failure mileage was approximately 119,000.
