CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar†warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Purchased my 2013 Ford Edge from Greenway Ford in Orlando October 2014. Love the car, beautiful and got a good deal or so I thought. Within a week the a/c module went out, battery drained from electrical issues and the list goes on from there. Took my car to Illinois for thanksgiving all of us suffered from headaches and sleepiness couldn't figure out why. Then I had to do a hard acceleration to pass a car and the fumes were breath taking to the point we had to roll the windows down. Took car in to dealership 5 times now with this issue, got Ford involved and this CANNOT be fixed. Ford offered to trade me out of my car under Florida Lemon Law and charge me $7000 in usage fees for miles on the car even though I have been making a payment??? OKAY - NO!!
So I am still dealing with the exhaust issues, electrical issues and paying a payment on a car that makes you sick when you drive it........there are several mornings I go out to walk my dog and the back lighting on dash is on for no reason, or the car will light up like it's actually on when there is no one inside or even touching the car, and the list goes on.
Sad thing is - I have checked out multiple SUV's and this by far was the best with leg room, cargo room, MPG, and love the sportiness but absolutely HATE smelling exhaust EVERY SINGLE TIME I DRIVE IT!
