CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar†warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

I had this problem before, took it to the dealership where I bought the vehicle and the Mykey function was turned off. I get into my vehicle days later and MyKey is activated on it's own. I will have to purchase a master to be able to reset the system I am told, this is such a pain. I believe the system is vunerable , there should be an recall concerning this. I love Ford vehicles, but I am not happy with this issue. I don't understand how my vehicle has functions beyond my control.
