The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle would not stop. The contact depressed the brake pedal almost to the floor for the vehicle to slow down. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the failure as a failure with a brake booster and hose that needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
