CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar†warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Ford has been aware of this problem for several years on the Edge and has chosen to not step up to the plate to resolve the issue. The car develops s smell of exhaust fumes inside the cab of the vehicle during acceleration. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership on several occasions with no response to solve the problem.
The problem, Ford continues to build the cars and does not try to solve the problems.
