CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

vista roof glass broke for no reason

Had 2011 Ford Edge for 4 days. While driving approximately 30 mph, the rear half of the 'vista' roof glass exploded/shattered. No other car was near, there wasn't even so much as a bump in the road to cause it. The weather was sunny/warm, but in the 90s so I couldn't just be from heat. Dealer has stated Ford doesn't consider this a warranty item. Had to file insurance claim. Roofs should not explode and shatter without impact.
