The contact owns a 2011 Ford Edge equipped with pirelli scorpion str tires, size 245/50/R20. While driving approximately 65 mph, the front passenger side tire blew out from the sidewalls. The contact replaced the tire with a spare. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the tire. The failure recurred and the contact stated that the front passenger side and rear tires had bulges. The tires were replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate vehicle and tire failure mileage was 30,000.
