CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar†warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

I purchased my 2011 Edge SEL at Canso Ford in port Hawkesbury in Feb 2012 and it's been pulling to the right ever since I bought it. If you accelerate it's worse. Been to 5 different Ford dealers. They did this, they did that. 5 yrs later it is still the same. Took to an independent garage for alignment, it was perfect. Said its got something to do with the torque steering. Ford won't talk about it. It's a sad thing. I have all the records. Now what can be done? I paid $44.000 for this piece of junk. Ford wouldn't take it back. I would advise anyone not to buy a Ford Edge or any other Ford as far as that goes. Useless to take to arbitration (camvac) which I did. They get their existence money from company's like Ford. Waste of time. I'll have to live with it but a potential buyer won't have to. Thanks for the opportunity to express my problem with Ford and my purchase.
