The contact stated that the vehicle failed to shift into park and the emergency brake was operated in order to park the vehicle. The contact called bob boyd Ford dealer at 740-654-1122 where they informed the contact the price for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000. The VIN was not available.
