CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar†warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

When you press the volume button ONE TIME on the steering wheel or dash it will sometime turn all the way up or all the way down. The system in this car is VERY loud, I usually keep it at about a "4" and it will turn all the way up to "18" at times.....I don't want to feel like I'm at a concert when I'm driving down the road. This is very annoying because for my job I drive about 1500 miles a month and I would like my volume to work. Not to mention but it is a 2011, new vehicles shouldn't already be messing up. Of course, the dealership couldn't recreate the problem so it hasn't been fixed. I have however been informed on how the volume control works as if I was a 3 year old. I would not recommend that you buy a vehicle from Tyler Ford and if you do, do not use Ken Davis in the service department.
