CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar†warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

I LIVE IN TEXAS. THE INTERIOR TEMPERATURES IN CARS GET WELL OVER 100 DEGREES. THE SCREEN IS SUPPOSED TO MADE OF A GLASS THAT WILL NOT FRACTURE OR CRACK UNLESS IT IS BEING PUSHED TOO HARD. THE CRACKING I HAVE IS AROUND THE EDGES NOT IN THE MIDDLE, THE EDGES!!! I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS WEAR, NOT ABUSE. IF THE SYSTEM WORKED CORRECTLY THEN I WOULDN'T BE PUSHING ON IT OVER AND OVER APPARENTLY CRACKING THE SCREEN WITH MY SUPER HUMAN STRENGTH. IN SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS (aka LAWSUITS). I AM SEEING THAT OTHERS HAVE THE SAME COMPLAINT ABOUT IT NOT BEING COVERED UNDER WARRANTY REGULAR OR EXTENDED. I AM NOT THE ONLY FORD OWNER WHO HAS THIS AMAZING SUPER HUMAN STRENGTH. I AM THINKING THE SCREEN IS NOT AS STRONG AS THEY ARE TELLING US IT IS. IF A FEW 100 OR SO OF US BAND TOGETHER, MAYBE THEY WOULD CHANGE THEIR MIND AND GIVE US THE WARRANTY WE DESERVE FOR THIS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME IN READING THIS.
