CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

the collision warning feature never works in rain/snow

This is a great feature to have....when it works. Glad I don't live where there's a lot of rain like WA state! Or a lot of snow. But we in the NE do get our share of inclement weather. When simple rain "blocks the collision sensor" I want to now why. Has Ford fixed this issue in later models? Is my 2011 the only one that has this issue? I had a ten year/30,000 mile warranty and the dealership claimed they didn't know what could be causing it. Is this a factory defect? Please reply with any help you recommend.
