Takata recall - it has been over two years since this recall and we are still waiting. This vehicle is used by an 83 year old woman and she would really like this airbag to be fixed. The dealership claims that these airbags are hard to come by. If there is anything that you can do to help speed up this time and get this airbag, I would appreciate it very much.
Takata recall - have tried to schedule this recall several times at tom peck Ford in clinton, wi. They say they will call when parts are received. We have not heard back anything for months. Worried car airbags will explode.
"takata recall" - Ford has not offered anything to fix the issue. My wife and children are at risk daily and I feel Ford should provide us with a vehicle until the problem is fixed. I know there is a class action suit, but I am prepared to charge Ford, and file then and takata personally. Please advise. Ford is not expected to make these repairs until 2020.
Takata recall. I was notified earlier this year that the airbags have been recalled I've kept in contact with a Ford dealership and they advise me that they cannot repair it at this time still waiting for the airbag to come
Takata recall. Dealership told me today that Ford is awaiting governmental approval to order replacement defective inflators. When I told them my wife is afraid to ride in the car, the response was to ride in the back seat. Good suggestion, but a bad answer to our safety concerns. When will they get the approvals they need to fix a problem reported over 10 months ago?
