The contact owns a 2010 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 15V712000 (fuel system, gasoline). The contact stated that there was an abnormal fuel odor outside the vehicle and a fuel leak from the fuel tank in his driveway. The vehicle was taken to priority Ford (7520 N military hwy, Norfolk, va 23518, (757) 419-2500) and it was stated that there was no rust on the fuel tank. The contact was informed that the gasoline was leaking from the seams of the fuel tank. The dealer also stated that it was the contact's responsibility to pay for the repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 160,000.
