The vehicle was examined by an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the brake booster was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 136,000.

The mechanic referred the contact took to a local dealer to have the vehicle diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
