In the last two years we have had the 2009 Ford Edge checked out for fume smells inside the car. Husband doesn't smell it, but I do and it causes coughing as well as breathing difficulties. The auto repair shop says they do not find anything wrong. They checked the cables/hoses etc. too. None the less, I am forced to subjecting myself to a potentially bigger problem with my lungs. I do open my window a little to draw the fumes out which does ease the coughing. However, it is very cold at this time of year to do so! All I can see at this point is to sell/trade in this car. How can I be sure I won't be purchasing another problem.
At this rate I do not recommend anyone to buy a Ford Edge and probably their other brands.
