The contact owns a 2009 Ford Edge. The contact stated that fuel fumes were present inside the vehicle. The dealer stated that the fuel tank was rusted and caused a fuel leak. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Strong smell of gas in garage. Backed out, gas spot on concrete. Took to service garage. Gas tank is leaking at seam. Told not to park in garage or drive until fixed. Dangerous due to gas fumes and leakage.
