Bought Eco sport in Aug 2014. From start I was not comfortable with brakes. Booked in for first service, thought it was @ 15000k intervals however it's meant to be 20 000 or 1 year, was never told, you can ride a bit more until 1 year, this is shortening my service plan. First thing I told the dealer (Krugersdorp Ford) is look at the brakes something is not right. Collect my car, got told it's carbon on brakes. Two weeks later same thing with brakes and my whole Audio system is dead. Take the car back to Krugersdorp Ford, to be told 'We have a general problem with the brakes we will replace everything', we asked why did they not make us aware as 2 weeks ago I had the 1st service done and I specifically mentioned the brakes and they lied to me by saying it's carbon on the brakes. They said we wait to see how many customers mention the same story then we do a national call back. The Audio system, they have no ideas what's wrong they will order a new one and replace it.
I still have not got a call to go and replace the Audio System it's 10 days ago. And to put the cherry on the cake today I want to start the car and nothing, call out Ford Protect AA Road Assistance, and the technician tells me they have a major call out for the Eco-Sports and it's always a flat battery and that it is a major concern as something is eating the power away on the battery and Ford should be very much aware of this by now.
I am a very unhappy customer and if a new car gives you so much trouble at this stage what is waiting in the future I ask
