This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
This same problem has been reported by people complaining on blogs. While in motion the vehicle will cut out. All power just stops and the vehicle rolls to a stop. It can be restarted. There is no indication when this will happen. It has happened on the expressway, at a repair facility, stopping at a traffic light, going down the road. Speed is not a common factor. The key has one or two other keys on the "key chain". there is no special weather situation. I do not know if it is the same cause as the GM problem with the ignition, but it produces the same result. This is a handicap shuttle van.
