Ford Motor Company has an on going issue with rims cracking / failing. I myself have replace all 4 of the 16' stock steel rims one by one. Purchase this vehicle with 8,000 miles October of 2014 and as of today December 2017 have 141,000 miles on the odometer. First could not keep hub caps on this vehicle and finally gave up purchasing hub caps and just removed them all. Then one by one the rims began to crack/fail and tires go flat. Now I carry a spare for the spare because it keeps happening. Walk outside going to start my day and surprise the truck has a flat tire caused by the rim cracking/failure. Thank Ford Motor Company for installing a tire pressure sensor system on this vehicle ,otherwise I would be flying down the highway and possibly loose control and die because of tire failure caused by rims cracking/failing due to loss of air pressure. I have spoke to
the Ford dealership in McAllen,Tx about this issue and was just go shoulders shrugged at me. So so far I have purchased 4 new 16' stock steel rims one by one.
