In to my first 3 months of owning this Van the summer heat of Houston is a challenge to this Ford Vans cooling system. I have returned it to FORD under extended warranty and they say it is operating at spec. When the vehicle is moving the A/C blows plenty cold. If stuck in traffic or sitting in a parking lot the air temperature coming out is not cold enough to cool off the interior - most uncomfortable warm. I have owned a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban for 3 years, a 2001 Suburban for 12 years, and Toyota's for years, all in Houston heat and never faced this issue. Yes a van has a little more square feet to cool than a Suburban but the air coming out of the vent is not even fair to say cold and parking in the shade has same result as not in the shade.
