The contact owns a 2006 Ford F350. The contact stated that while attempting to secure a child safety seat restraint in the vehicle, she discovered that the vehicle did not come equipped with a latch system for the child restraint. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was contacted and attempted to advise the contact on how to find the latch, but the contact stated that there simply was no latch in the vehicle. The failure and the current mileages was 62,000.
