I noticed delaminating silver paint particles in fuel after taking off lower fuel filter because the engine was bogging down and dying, especially on the highway. The last time I drove it on the highway it took 2 hours to go 10 miles because it kept dying and you had to let it sit and it would work fine for a few minutes and stall again and had to repeat cycle over and over to get me home. Called Ford and reported and mentioned this should not be happening as I have had several Ford vans in the past, some well over 300,000 miles and never experienced fuel tank delaminating paint. I believe this is causing fuel delivery problems but as to what I don't have a clue. Ford should step up and stand by their products and fix what is clearly a defect. If they don' I will never buy a Ford product again.
