Had 3 or 4 mechanics and Ford Dealer look into this problem. Cost me about $3,000 over the course of a couple of years in shocks, sway bar bushings, steering stabilizer, radius arm bushings, u-joints, balance tires, replace tires, tie rods, and drag link. Definitely annoying. My major issue was that even if they could not fix the shudder/vibration problem that it would not be dangerous to drive since my wife and kids were the main driver/passengers. And we had bought it to travel back and forth to the east coast to drop off/pick up our kids from college in the fall and spring.
