The contact owns 2013 Ford E-250. The contact stated that there was an abnormal odor inside the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that there was a leak at the fuel relay present after at start-up. The contact was informed that the fuel relay needed to be replaced. Germain Ford of beavercreek (2356 heller dr, beavercreek, oh 45434) was contacted and informed of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The contact did not feel safe driving the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 117,000.
