The truck was a total loss along with construction equipment. Liability insurance did not cover expense. Still paying for a truck that I do not have. Police report was filed. While backing up into parking space, when I stepped on brake pedal, the brakes did not grab. It seemed like the van started to accelerate. I squeezed brake pedal very hard and I heard ABS clicking. I still didn't stop so I had to shift car into park. This happened twice to me. The first time was about 3 months earlier.
The fuel throttle body valve would stick every time the accelerator was applied. Once the throttle would unstick, the vehicle will suddenly surge forward into a spin. Owner has had the vehicle repaired by the dealership.
