RE: 2008 CV P71 - I don't let anyone else in my family drive this car because of the following reason: The driver MUST BE VERY CAREFUL when applying brakes to ensure that the accelerator is not also being pressed on. This has happened to me many times. Don't rotate the right foot to apply the brake pedal. Do instead move the entire right foot over to apply the brake pedal. It's a pain but it's good safety tip.
