A/C doesn't blow cold air
I have been a loyal client of AutoNation Ford Service Center - St. Petersburg, for many years. Their service has become very unsatisfactory, and on Wednesday 04/27/2016, was the tipping point. In short, I made an appointment on their website, scheduled for 4:45pm and received an e-mail with a confirmation number. My car has a problem with the AC which is not blowing cold air and it may need additional freon, etc. Since, it was already 3:30pm when I made the appointment, my son called their Center to let them know, that the car may need checking the AC, and the advisor, Jennifer Padavano told us, that it'll take about two hours for them to run the test and find out what was wrong, such us leakages, etc. In other words, she (the Ford advisor) was aware of what problem the car has and what type of specialist it'll need, in order to fix it. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was told, that the specialists who work on the AC of cars, are leaving by 5:00 pm and they had no other capable mechanic left to take care of the car. Mind you, on the official website of AutoNation Ford, it clearly states that they are open until 7:00pm (on Wednesdays). So, I was told to come back the next morning. This is no way to treat a client, especially when our whole family has used their services for about 30 years. I wished, the advisor had told me, that they wouldn't have a specialist on site after 5:00pm, over the phone. Absolutely disrespectful behavior and disregard for people's time.
