Customer satisfaction program number 01B78. I contacted winner Ford and they told me that the offer expired the 31st of August. I don't feel I should have to pay for this to be repaired. I told them that I use my car 6 days a week and could not get it into the office by the cut off date, I also let them know I would never buy another Ford product because I was under the understanding that the customer is always right. This is a safety hazzard and all I would like for them to do is fix it.
Instrument panel foam and skin peeled back blocking passenger side air bag door. Ford had a customer program to repair until june22, 2002. Defect did not appear until after program ended. Customer letter was never presented to owner as letter was sent before purchase. Ford will no longer cover repair.Ford has been advised that airbag is effected. Local dealer reports 8 current owners have condition and are not covered by Ford repair.
Mfr.# & NHTSA# 01-F-139-000/instrument panel: The consumer states that the dash board is detaching from the defroster grill. The dealer and manufacturer have been notified and both informed that the recall has ended in August.
NHTSA recall 01 F 139 000/instrument panel: Recall repairs were a failure, instrument panel installed has started to warp. Repairs were done at pierce Ford Mercury dealer in shelbyville, ky. Phone # 502/633-4535.
Engine check light has been on, and vehicle runs roughly. Took vehicle to dealer 4 times. Dealer stated that catalytic converter needed to be replaced.
