Consumer contacted the dealer in reference to four seperate NHTSA recall notices 99V243000/ 99V194000/ 99V103000 and 98V233000. Also, manufacturer's recalls 99S23/99S19/99S14 and 98S26. Dealer refused to correct the recall problems without the consumer correcting the problem with transmission.
Manual gear shift on this vehicle sticks, when the clutch is applied to shift into first it, will not allow this command. Once it gets into first there is a problem getting it out. This also happens with the reverse gear. The problem does not always occur. Dealer has been contacted.
Consumer received recall notice, and contacted dealer/manufacturer in 11/98. Parts not in after 60 days. Owner cannot get remedy of problem. Provide further information.
