I bought a 1996 ford contour gs with the 2.5l v6 dohc cam with a 105,000 miles and i started to smell oil and it was dripping under the car took it to dealer and they said it was leaking from the oil pan and crank shaft and the mail rear seal and it would cost $ 2,000 dollars to take out the engine and reseal it all so i sold the car after two months big bummer never by one of those again
