While driving on the freeway the bottom plastic undercarriage shield just popped off. I have not done any driving over big rocks. My driveway slopes but not that much. This car's front end is too low, and the undercarriage is attached with screws right at the spot that a slightly slanted driveway would hit? Cost me $300 to replace, and now I can't drive up my own driveway -- or any real hills! I'd be totally screwed in SF! This is definitely bad design. I live in the flatlands, we are talking about less than a 20° slope. And I never ever heard it scrape. I've had it for 4 weeks and parked it in the driveway 3 times and the bottom just falls off? I'm on a 3 year lease or I'd bring it back today.
