My car was parked in my driveway with all the doors closed. Around midday the back window exploded blowing out from the sides and completely shattering (tiny pieces of safety glass is all that is left). No one touched it and nothing fell on it. I found that Ford had a similar problem with the Escape, otherwise I would have never believed that a window could blow out all by itself. Pressure I guess. My local Ford dealer is no help saying that they can't do anything until it is OK'd by Ford. I say baloney. If you really want to say you deliver top quality service then solve my problem and back your product dealership!! I can't drive my car and am having a glass specialty company repair it at a cost of at least $600. I'm just happy that no one was in the car or around it when it happened. Super dangerous!!!
