So I brought it in finally when I had some time, I was on Spring break, and they cannot find a problem. Of course it wouldn't do the same level of noise when the service people were in the car but it did do a low level noise and I told them it was much worse, they kept it for four days and finally give me a report that says it is normal engine noise and to use the gas. This is not normal engine noise, it was ear splitting when it happens. On cold start before you get to 30-40m/h it will make this noise, everyone in my family has heard it, it is not normal to want to cover your ear drums to stop them from hurting with the noise. My only hope now is it is getting warmer so I might not have to hear it until next Winter!!!!

Seriously this is a brand new car and it has done this since I got it, and they cannot find a problem so I'm stuck with it. And this is not the only problem I had with the car, the battery was dead one day I was going out to pick my kids up from school. Completely dead, I called my husband who happens to work for Ford and he thought I was joking, I wasn't and after a complete panic we managed to get the kids picked up, however after he jumped and I took it in, surprise, surprise they couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I have to be stranded three more times before I can start talking about lemon law and maybe getting a more reliable car. I just can't believe I have to put up with this in a brand new car, it is embarrassing, and thankfully my work colleague didn't listen to me and bought a Prius....at least her car works.

Took vehicle in for repair of leak in rear cargo area. Accumulation of water damaging clothes and other items. Ford service center took out cargo window replaced seal and provided car back to us after scratching paint. We took car for a carwash and noticed water accumlating in cargo area once again. Took vehilce back to Ford service center for second go at fixing this issue. We have only owned the vehicle for two weeks at this point. We also noticed a LOUD vibration from unkown location during opeation in the morning on cold weather days. Informed local dealership from which we purchased the vehicle. Representative from that dealership told me to use the LEMON LAW!! We had only owned the vehicle for under three weeks with less than 500 miles and told to screw ourselves they won't honor the expectation of a new car. To date we have driven our car for less than two of the three week we have owned it. 33% of the time in service center fixing leak in cargo area and trying to obtain what the issue would be regarding vibration. The car makes such a loud vibration my wife feels it is unsafe to drive and goes at a very low speed during operation in the AM. Don't expect to get near the 47 MPG advertised. We get lucky to hit 34 I am driving at a very low rate of speed, slow at leaving lights and smooth stops.
