First the wrench light came on after plugging my car in for cold weather. Called, multiple times. Got an appointment for 1 week later. Had been going out and starting it to make sure it ran. Then the battery completely went dead. Had it towed it for repairs. After 8 days, I got it back. They replaced the battery and said that was the problem. Drove it home and parked it. Next day the wrench light was on again. I drove it to Ford again for repairs. After 14 days they couldn't get the light to come on. (I left it there so they could keep testing it) I went down and started it and the wrench light came on.
Now they tell me the warmth of the plugin stays warm but outside temperature is cold so that's why it's going on. They really don't know. Say it's a design problem and Ford has not reported a problem or a fix for it. I say they need to recall these cars. Ford needs to find the problem, get the cars fixed. They need to recall C-Max for the batteries and the electrically system failures. And not keep beating around the bush. If I had been depending on this car to get me to work, I would of lost my job weeks ago. I am all for the Lemon Law.
I want them to replace my car with another model and pay off the balance and credit all my payments. If any class action suit is filed I want to be a part of it. I have a Ford 2013 F150 FX and love it. But if something doesn't start looking better for my C-Max I will never buy another Ford...PERIOD.
