My car is now 2 Yrs old. I took a drive to Santa Cruz (50 mi) and when I took my exit and slowed down I heard a strange noise. I pulled over to check it out and to my displeasure I found that the plastic under carriage in the front of my car had come down and was scraping against the road. I muscled it back to where it belonged, got in my car and proceeded to my destination only to have to pull over every mile or so to push the undercarriage back up again. I had to come back home on the freeway (my only option) when I finished my appt. By the time I arrived, the whole front portion of the under carriage was shredded from bending back under itself dragging against the road because of the wind velocity caused by driving. I took it to the local Ford dealership ( not the one with the lease because it was 30 miles further) who zip tied it in place till we could get it back in for a more thorough assessment since it was close to closing time.

I'm furious with this inconvience and the fact that they will say it's my fault like the first time something similar happen after only 4 weeks into my lease. It's not my fault and I've never had car issues like this with the undercarriage. I believe it due to cheap plastic mounted with plastic bolts that wear out or pop out of place. I'm sure there are others that must be having this problem too.
